Dog Obedience Class - Dog Obedience Class
A 4-week program to help you learn the basics of dog obedience. A certified, professional, dog trainer will work with you and your dog and even show you a couple of tricks! Open to all ages of dogs.Instructor - Sahvanna Davison from Patience Inspired Dog Training. She has been working with dogs for 10 plus years. It brings her great joy to be able to teach clients how their dogs learn and help build their bond while teaching our pets manners. She is dog and cat first aid certified and a Good Canine Citizenship evaluator through the AKC. She teaches positive reinforcement dog training techniques as well!Schedule is as follows:Week 1: -Introductions-Information on training, how our dogs learn etc. -clickers -Sit-Watch Me-People Greetings (no jumping) Week 2: Review: Sit, Watch me-Down-With Me-Leave it -Stay part 1 Week 3: Review: all taught commands -Stay part 2-Down raising hand command/ off lure (treat)-Drop it-Loose Leash Walking adding with me Week 4: -Review: -Recall -Rally Course ( All commands taught, dogs go through course 1 by 1)-Certificates-Grad Picturesmin 4, max 10 - Thursdays, September 12 - October 4, 5:30-6:30; Town Hall Annex Front Field (1675 Flat River Rd) $120 residents, $130 non-residents (4 Weeks)**All dogs need to have updated Rabies, Distemper/parvo and Bordetella vaccines to participate**
