Make this the BEST SUMMER EVER at the 2022 Summer Kids Program!
This program is a fun mix of in-camp days and field trips. Our main goal is to provide Coventry's youth with a fun, safe, engaging, and enriching experience.
The Summer Kids Program runs for six weeks and is for youth entering grades 1 through 8 in the 2022/2023 academic year. Participants are grouped by grade into the following divisions:
Pee Wee (completed K – 2 by 6/30/2022)
Junior (completed 3 & 4 by 6/30/2022)
Discovery (completed 5 – 7 by 6/30/2022)
Dates: July 5– August 12 / Monday – Friday
No program on Monday, August 8, 2022
Hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
Extended hours: $80.00 / household
Drop-off as early as 8:00 am and pick-up as late as 4:30 pm
Registration Fee: $555.00 Resident/$655 Non-Resident
This fee covers all six weeks
This fee does not include the cost of field trips
Financial Assistance is available for Coventry Residents only; contact Human Services at (401) 822-9175 for more information. The deadline to apply for financial assistance is Friday, June 3, or until registration is full, whichever occurs first. Note: If approved for financial assistance, you must then register at the Parks and Recreation Department. Approval of financial acceptance does not guarantee availability.
Online registration requires a credit card for payment. If you choose to pay with cash/check, or receive a campership from the Department of Human Services, you must register in person at the Parks & Recreation office Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.
Additional T-Shirt: $7.00 / each
You receive one t-shirt (per child) free of charge

Field Trips
Participants must be enrolled in the Summer Kids Program to be eligible to sign up for field trips.
Please note: Camp T-shirts must be worn when attending field trips.
Due to transportation constraints, all payments are due by the deadlines listed below. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Week 1 (July 5-8 ) trips: payment due Thursday, June 30;
Week 2 (July 11-15 ) trips: payment due Thursday, July 7;
Week 3 (July 18-22) trips: payment due Thursday, July 14;
Week 4 (July 25–29) trips: payment due Thursday, July 21;
Week 5 (August 1–5) trips: payment due Thursday, July 28;
Week 6 (August 9–12) trips: payment due Thursday, August 4;
ALL FIELD TRIPS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE DUE TO WEATHER AND CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL.
