Clean Team Volunteers

Coventry Parks and Recreation is looking for volunteers to assist in keeping our parks clean! Duties include trash pickup (that’s right, you get to use a super cool grabby thing to pick up trash). Hours are flexible (seriously, we just appreciate the help), asking for a minimum commitment of 10 hours per year (you want more? Go for it!). Minimum age of 16 unless accompanied by an adult. Come help us keep our community looking great! 

REQUIREMENTS
Age: 16 and older. Volunteers ages 16 and 17 must go out in pairs either with a fellow Clean Team volunteer or a parent/guardian. Those under 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Time Commitment: 10 hours a year to remain an active volunteer.
Qualifications: Motivation to keep our park system clean!

RESPONSIBILITIES
Use your own small garbage bags from home to pick up litter throughout the parks.
Provide information to park guests when asked.
Recycle appropriate items and dispose of the rest after your shift.
Email service hours and number of bags collected after each shift to parksandrecreation@coventryri.org
