2026 marks the 250th anniversary of our nation!
This important anniversary is an opportunity for Rhode Islanders, and all Americans, to reflect on the many significant events that inspired the birth of our country from a diversity of perspectives. The Town of Coventry is proud to mark its Semiquincentennial (250th anniversary) with a special parade! Join us on Saturday, June 20 (rain date June 21) to honor our town’s 250 years of history, community, and pride.
The parade route starts at Paine Field, travels down South Main Street, and ends at Coventry High School, kicking off the 4th Annual Summer Festival with food trucks, a kids’ zone, live music, and fireworks!
